Max de Esteban is an artist based in Barcelona. His work has been featured in solo and group exhibitions worldwide including at the Deutsches Technikmuseum, Berlin, Germany; the Palais de Tokyo, Paris, France; La Virreina Centre de la Imatge, Barcelona, Spain; and Darmstädter Tage der Fotografie, Germany, and is in the collections of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, Texas; Museu de Arte Moderna do Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; Stredoeurópsky dom fotografie, Slovakia; and Deutsches Technikmuseum Berlin, among others. De Esteban’s monographs include Elegies of Manumission (Paso Robles, CA: Nazraeli Press, 2012), Heads Will Roll (Berlin: Hatje Cantz Verlag, 2014), Proposiciones/Propositions (Madrid: La Fábrica, 2015), and Twenty Red Lights (Barcelona: La Virreina, 2017).
