Atlanta-born photographic artist Meghann Riepenhoff splits her time between San Francisco and Bainbridge Island, Washington. Her work has been published in Harper’s Magazine, the Aperture PhotoBook Review, the New York Times, and TIME, among many other magazines and journals, and has been exhibited throughout the United States and abroad. In 2014, she was awarded first place by Charlotte Cotton in the Camera Club of New York’s Annual Juried Competition and selected as a Top 50 Photographer by Critical Mass, and she has received numerous honors, awards, and nominations. Riepenhoff has lectured at universities and institutions in the United States and Mexico, and has hosted workshops on the value of photography for at-risk youth. She earned her B.F.A. in Photography from the University of Georgia and her M.F.A. from the San Francisco Art Institute.

Riepenhoff’s work is in the collections of the High Museum of Art, Atlanta, Georgia; the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston; the Museum of Contemporary Photography, Columbia College Chicago; the Worcester Art Museum, Massachusetts; and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. She is currently working on her first monograph, to be co-published by Yossi Milo Gallery and Radius.
